Respected sir,
With reference to above subject i want to say that after G.D & P.I for
admission in MBA for july 2010 batch. My son was selected in NEW DELHI
INSTITUTION OF MANAGEMENT, F-13 OKHLA INDUSTRIAL AREA PHASE 1,NEW DELHI.
According to college demand i had sent the Demand Draft of Rs25000 D.D
no.904797 from S.B.I bank on 29/10/09 for seat confirmation.But mistakenly i
write INSTITUTE in place of INSTITUTION. Therefore college say to me that
you write an application about your mistake and we will resend your demand
draft to you so that you can correct it an send the right demand draft.
According their words i sent an application but they didn’t return my demand
draft,and get the cash from demand draft by receipt no. 2551 on 18/11/09. By
this act,i consult with some people regarding college and i found that the
education level and hostel environment is very bad. So i decide my son
should not go in that college. Then i say to the college to refund my draft
amount but the college refuse to refund it.
Therefore please help me in refunding my D.D Rs 25000 from that college
because according to government and university rules also if the student
should not attend any class in the college before its batch get started then
the college has no right to take the fees of the student. So kindly help me.

aap se request hai ki aap muje supreme court ke us order ki copy bheje
jis mai supreme court ne apne order mai yeh kaha gaya hai reagional office
hone par hum case file kar sakte hai kyoki humari admission confirm
reagional office mai hi hui hai or aap ke pass or koi saboot ho muje bhejne
ki kirpa kare aap ka mai shukar gujar rahoga shukria

I purchased Kaysons Education DVD pack and received 50% material on
17/12/2009

But all the material is mostly of 11th standard and I had been requesting
for the remaining material but on calling Mob: +91-9927837052 Contact
Person: Manas Kapoor gives an abrupt reply and says due to technical
problem, our servers are undergoing upgradation so your account cant be
upgraded to pro. It has not been done till 4 Jan 2010 today.

Also on asking about sending the remaining part of the course, he blames
that I should have ordered the course earlier. Instead of an apology, he
condemns me. My Rs 13,125 have been struck with such a institute of coaching
who have a poor unsatisfactory customer support. Also I see no mentions of
their institute which questions its truthfulness.

The authorities there must take immediate action to provide the material.

yesterday i had farwarded you one my complaint about my property
grivences. this is another case of propety dispute with the copmany
complaint-2
1- I am NRI AND RESIDING IN QATAR.
2- I belong to lucknow india but my case is in channai
3-I had invested some amount in the scheme VGP AQUA FARM PROJECT IN TAMIL
NADU(CHENNAI),INDIA in the year 1994 and according scheme they will pay me
yield income from .selling of shrimps produced under the above scheme.
4-In the beging they had paid me RS2775/= in the march 2000, after that they
stopped payment instaed offerd me to transfer amount to another scheme of
HOUSING PROJECT of the same company.in which i am not intested and also of
no benifit.
5-I had infomed them about my decision but still no reply from them since
long spell of time has passed and nos of reminder sent to them.
6- in fact they have cheated us and not intrested to refund my funds.
Please advice us is there any possibilty to take legal action against the
company to inorder get my money back.

NRI account in the year 1986 vide under approval no EC.CO.FID (II).NRIC
6203/1391 -86/DT 28/5/1987
2- debuntures alloted -24nos on23/2/1987
3 -equity dividend paid RS 101.24 through cheque on30/3 /1987 since then no
payment.
4-I had sent a letter M.D. -DATAMASTIC CONSULTANTS INC, bombay India on
12/6/2000 and requested him to arrange payment of dividend but their no
repllyrom them
5-Please advice us is there any possibilty to take legal action against the
company and allow me sell out my sharesor pay dividend to me.

I need some advice. I worked in one of the bpo (listed in stock exchange)
for 2 years and resigned without serving the notice period. They deducted
one month basic salary but not ready to provide a releaving letter since
thay have come up with a new policy that if notice period is not served they
can not provide a releaving letter. I can not join a new company now and i
am going through a mental stress. please advice.

I purchased an IPod(Mp-4 Player) from a vendor for Rs 1200/- and it got
defective after two days. The vendor refused to accept the item back on the
pretext that the company do not provide any warranty/guarranty. However, on
repeated pleas he took the item and told to contact after 15 days. Since
than 4 months have passed and now yesterday he had refused blatantly saying
that the software is corrupt and he can not do any thing. I do not have any
bill because he did not give.

Subject: DELL ALIENWARE m15x Laptop Faulty

Hello,
I purchased a DELL alienware m15x laptop from Dell retail showroom at
chennai.I have wiered problem,this laptop is basically a gaming laptop and
all the games i have installed till now are working fine except for one
particular vendor.

Vendor (EA Games)- all the games of this vendor when played in this laptop
the ËNTER”button does not function whereas when i connect an USB keyboard
to the laptop the game works and this is happening for all the DELL
Alienware models.I have tested the game in other desktop and laptops models
and it is working fine but only in this model its not working

When contacted they are saying they will fix soon but they are not saying
about any specific date. The laptop is really Costly and its Rs.1,20,000
Lkhs. Please suggest how i can proceed next legally and any help is really
appreciated.

Subject: Nokia Mobile Model Number 7610S

I bought Nokia mobile model number 7610S on 26th Feb. 2009. After purchasing
it, I used these mobile only for 4 to 5 months, After that its start getting
trouble.
I made a complaint to Nokia Customer care at Maa Communication, B-36 Guru
Nanak Pura, Radhu Palace Road, Opp V3S Mall, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. They repair
it but after few days I was encountered with same problem. Again I notified
the same complaint to Nokia Centre. This was happened to me 4 time and 4
times made a same complaint to Nokia care centre and also notified the same
to customer care. One of the customer care executive told us that he would
forward the complaint to head office and also we will replace the phone as
your phone under warranty period.
On the other hand, Nokia Service centre representive asked us to buy a new
battery worth rs. 2320/-. I really dont understand this, why I would I buy a
new battery, as My mobile still in One year coverage.
Today dated 10 jan 2010, I again spoke to customer care executive he upfront
told us that he cannot replace even cannot forward your request for
replacement. When I asked him to give me ur headoffice phone number Or any
responsible person to whom I can speak with regarding the same problem. The
person deny to provide the number and said customer are not allowed to
speak.
Nokia Priority dealer called us and told to us that phone has been repaired
and collect the phone as soon as possible However I refused to collect the
phone as I am looking for the replacement.
Please Give your assistance to me as What should I do next now.

Hi,
Kudos for your initiative.
I have an issue with Tata internet DSL services. I had been using this
service for more than year. My average bill was Rs 400/- and my credit limit
is Rs 1250/-. In Aug-Sept’09 month, according to bill my usage was for Rs
4601/-.
I did not get any message from Tata about my extra usage and they did not
cut my connection even it exceeded my credit limit. Now they are forcing me
to pay whole amount. They also sent legal notice to me.
Please suggest what should I do in this condition.

I have a customer which is a startup call center named Aussie e Solutions.
The call center is not registered one. We did networking for them under the
understanding that we have the apparatus and maintenance all with us for 1
year. The customer is Yuvraj Bhardwaj a resident of Sector 28 Faridabad. We
raised invoices in Sep’09 and recd only Rs 12,000/-. There is a due of three
months including the current month @Rs5,000/- per month and extra work of
putting the boxes for network switches to the tune of Rs 2000/-, but the
payment has not been received till now despite many mails, visits , calls.
He is not picking the phone, nor replying to the mails and not available in
office. The address given for office is 1296, sector 16 faridabad where he
does not stay. We have all the docs like proposal, acceptance and invoices.
Also, the cheques have bounced. Pl advice as what to do against these
fraudulent companies.

This is in reference to the data card I purchased from Reliance in the month
of March’09 (Number being 9311541918). As a package deal, I was also given
two (2) months of free usage of Internet (excluding any calls made or SMS
charges). I kept/used the data card with me for one(1) month(only for
serving the net and never ever there was any call made nor apart from one
message that I sent initially to check the activation) and on 03rd
April’09 , I got the connection disconnected by giving a call at the
customer care service (Request no. 93726477). Till then, an amount of Re.1
was pending to be paid as the Internet usage was free and I was still left
with one whole month of free usage.

I also got a call from Reliance Mumbai Office who then facilitated in
getting the connection disconnected. Things were going fine for a while
before I started receiving calls asking for payment of Rs. 350.00 for using
the data card. To my surprise, they kept on chasing me in spite of me
telling them I got the connection disconnected within my free usage period.
To make matters worst, I received a call a week before asking me to pay a
sum of Rs. 1100.00.

Soon I got a call from Reliance Legal Department (Atleast thats what he told
me) raising the same issue. I gave him the complete download and he then
confirmed to me (post he checked it at his end) that I have been wrongly
chased by them and that it will not be repeated again. Again for a while
things went quite when a week ago i yet again got a call from them asking
for payment. I screamed at them and told them to check thier records before
calling customers. To my worries, some gentleman named Virender (posing to
be a lawyer maybe) calls and tell s me that my case has reached him and that
i will have to make the payment. How insane an organization can get whoe
poses to be the biggest PVT. company of India.

Can anyone please help me out of this mud trap as I am being constantly
chased for paying for a service, which I have not used. This really is
embarrassing as the person who calls is also not a polished person and his
tone is pretty rude.

Request you to please sort this out at the earliest.

Hi,

This is Sandesh from Thane. I have taken a loan of approx 32,000/- from
Citifinancial back in July 2007 for which im paying an EMI of Rs1489/-,
which is to be paid till Augus 2010. But unfortunately this month, due to
some financial reasons, i was unable to pay this months EMI. I received a
collection call on Jan 19th, where in it was informed to them that i will be
paying this month EMI next month, along with the Late fee & next month EMI,
still on the very next day, i receieved another call from
Citifinancail,stating that it is a collection call, bt the way the caller
spoke with me was like a Recovery call, like he was indirectly threatening
me abt the recovery…I did visit the citifinancial Thane branch, the very
next day, wherein, they started blaming me, for missing the EMI, i informed
them again that i’ll be paying it next month & i received a call from a
supervisor from Citifinacncial, who handles the collection calls & he
promised me that he will be sending me the Statement for my account & also
he will be sending me an email, regarding the action taken against the agent
who called me, but till date i have not received any call or mail from them
|| on the other hand i did receive a collection call yesterday again. Please
guide me, as i have payed all my 27 EMI’s till date every month & no EMI has
been delayed But only for 1 EMI, i started receiving recovery calls…Thank
you.

or legal advice for a case where our college(M.I.E.T) have imposed a fine of
Rs.5000 on few students,for just carrying cellphones which were surely off
during the lectures.A search was conducted & everything from shoes to our
bags were checked as if we are in a school.Some of us seriously depend on
scholarships even for paying our fees & thus it’s next to impossible for us
to pay for such “unjustified” fine,therefore we necessarily seek some legal
advise as our college have refused to register us for the next semester
until & unless the fine is paid.

1. I have contracted a house with my brother in law friend’s contractor
without making written agreement with both the parties.
2. The payment is done via cheque.

3. In month December, while raining the whole house was leaking from loof &
side walls.
4. Now we found that the water leakage happened because in & out wall crack
all over the house and bad quality water roofing the ceiling.

6. The newly constructed house looks like 5 years old house.
7. The lack of finishing in the floor & Staircase.
8. The paint quality is low.

Sirs,

I had booked a flat with Parsvnath Builders in December 2007 at Sonepat
(Parsvnath Preston) under their ‘EMI Reimbursement Scheme’ till offer of
possession.

Since then the construction has yet not started, and EMI reimbursement is
also irregular. I have to constantly chase them every month for the same.
Now, for last 3-4 months the reimbursement has not received, which is
causing tremendous financial and mental pressure on me and my family.

Kindly advise way forward.

Dear M,
I had arranged a videographer to take photograph and video for my marriage
and reception function on last April 2008. I paid Rs 25,000 as advance.
After that he handed over only the Photo Album and not given the Video till
now. While asking, he simply said that he was missed that original
cassette.. For saying this answer he dragged one and half years. Legally, in
what way i have to move futher? Kindly advice.

My mobile phone,Sony Ericksson number F305 was purchase from Kamla Nagar,
Delhi-6, from Sony Franchisee there. The service centre at Roshanara road is
near Kamla Nagar. Mr. Neeshu, service centre incharge ph:011-238-23363.
Six times we have given our phone to the service centre for the same problem
in the set but that single problem persist till now and the service centre
says they have put new mother board but we doubt that inspite of changing
even the mobile phone motherboard, the problem is still there. We have been
put thru so much troble of everytime going to the centre and getting back to
then after a day or so because the problem crops in a days time again.
Today again my daughter is going to the service centre for mobile repair.We
have been too much disturbed and stresses.

I want Sony dealer should replace the set because the problem will
remain.People everywhere are manipulating original inventories and replacing
with defective ones and they sell original stock item, in turn the company
looses the inventory.
Please get our item replaced.

Triveni Heights Project : People are not refunind my money back
It has been more than 3 years and the construction is not even started. I
have contacted them several times but they are not even reporting. Through
this forum I came to know that they have sold this land.

Please help. They aren’t returning the deposited money leave apart 10%
simple interest.

one year, I haven’t received a satisfactory response from your end with
respect to the status of the project or refund. I visited your office in the
month of Feb, 09. wherein I was told that the project will be started once
again. In June I was told that a final decision on the same will be taken in
Aug, 2009 or I can take a post dated cheque (Dated One and a Half Year later
from the Current Date). The other option given to me was tranfer of amount
to some other project.

After a detailed discussion you told me that since there is a transfer of
office location all refunds will be made on and after September. Now that I
called them once again they say that they have stopped refund for the
project till FEb’10 (Contacted Sachin, Marketing and Vikas).

I cannot look for any other project in Faridabad or any other location as I
am residing in Noida.Please consider this as mail as an official request for
refund of the Booking amount and interest for the delayed period.

I am a real estate agent in Gurgaon. This is in regard to negligence at a
leading restaurant chain. I was having dinner with my wife last night when
she found a hard thing in her mouth while having food, and found out it is a
staple pin or a small piece of broken steel, a part of which she swallowed.
She is going through some treatment for pregnancy, and I think it is risky
for her. We have a 2-3 pieces of that pin with us, but we dont have the
bill.

When we complained for the same to the manager, he even refused to reimburse
the bill amount. We are looking for compensation for negligence. Please

I Purchased a pair of shoes and track suit through Indiatimes Book club. On
receipt of the material I realized that the pair of shoes is not fitting (
although the size was same as asked in order form). I Called up their office
and requested for a replacement. They advised me to send the goods back to
them. However when I send the material, it was not accepted and returned
back. On further inquiry they advised to send it back again. However this
time again the material was not accepted at their end and the parcel was
returned back to me.
Also a free holiday was offered along with the purchase. I have sent
necessary form to the address given by them almost a month back, but so far
I have not received any feed back from them.
It appears that the scheme has been made to deceive consumers.
Request your advice in getting suitable compensation for the loss and

On 1st October one technician from local provider of Sify BroadBand service
came to my home for repairing cable. While doing so he shorted the internet
cable with external 11KV high tension cable. As a result my PC has blasted,
one ceiling fan, one cooler two CFL got damaged. Power supply of total
neighborhood was down and we had a very bad time dealing with the electric
supply people. At the same time a fire broke out above a paint shop,where
the internet cable was shorted. In all there were significant amount of
damage to my property and a good number of people became at risk. Also my
family suffered mental turmoil due to a huge blast in side the room which is
of course a great concern.
Now even after repeated request,neither a satisfactory reply nor a

booked and he says he wants to withdraw from project if all the onwers
agree.Else he will only prepare 24 flats ie. one block and give it to us.The
entire home loan has not been disbursed and i have been paying pre emi since

Moreover there has been no progess of work since last 7 months.Please let me
know what are the amount which i should get back if he tries all 12 of us to

A complaint was lodged in the district forum at Dibrugar, Assam. After
hearings regarding jurisdiction, court had decided that the jurisdiction is
at Dibrugarh. In the mean time the president was changed. The new president,
at the time of final judgement dismissed the case stating that the
juridiction can not be at Dibrugarh.

An appeal was filed in the state commissin, Guwahati. But at the time of
hearing, the order copy regarding jurisdiction was not found in the case
file which may be manupulated. My advocate produced the certified copy in
original of the order but the state commission did not considered that one &
ordered to remand back the case to the district forum on 27.11.07

The case records are not yet sent to the district forum though two years
overed from the state commissin.

my queries are :-

1. why enquiry regarding missing of order copy from the case record file was
made ? why should I suffer for the fault which was not done by me ?

2. Why certified copy of the order in original was considered as valid ?

3. Why the case record file was not sent to the district forum despite the
order of 27.11.07 ?

Now, what should I do , please advise me at earliest.

I had purchased LCD tv from LG. At present it is under repair (Unable to see
the picture). The LG service station says that they have stopped the
manufacturing the component of this model and they cannot repair. It was
purchased 2 yrs back and the invoice is 42 thousand.

Now service station says that they will calculate the depriciation at 40%
and refund the money.

I was very happy with the TV and do not to pay any extra money. They are
also offering same model with by asking me to pay 10 K. Since this model is
outdated what is the gaurantee that I will not face the same situation.

Also since company is unable to back the product for minimum 5yrs company is
at the falt. Why should customer bare the price.

Kindly advice on this further. Pls give me the clause of consumer law in
case if the company is unable to service the product in the scenario like
this.

I bought ACER laptop about 7 months back. It is under warranty. It had a
problem in the Display Screen. I complained. The screen was replaced after
about three weeks. Once again the screen has developed problems. It keeps

I am a Citibank customer and had to withdrew rs.20000 from my Citibank debit
card via SBI ATM on 10/13. Since it required multiple withdraws, my first

debited from my account.

I had purchased New Indica Vista anniversary model from Cargo motors, S.G.
Road, Ahmedabad. The company had incorporated the tubeless tyres of
Goodyear, this being the new technology, which has a drawback that whenever
there is any defect in its inner rubberlining or any minor jumpover the
pithole makes the tyre rapture little from its inner lining layer and the
air rushes out and forms a boil which is visible on the outer surface of the
tyre.
This was experienced by my car within 6 months of its purchase, which was
brought to the notice of the Tata company and they informed the tyre company
who refused the claim in the warrenty.
One month after again the same thing happened in another tyre of my car,
therby jeopardising two tyre. Again it was reported and again the same
answer of no claim. Then just last week they approached that they could help
us out by giving little discount on purchase of new tyres,when we told them
of approaching the consumer forum.

Therefore the intention of Vian Infrastructure is very clear that they do not
want to refund his money.
The Company was first based in connaught place, delhi and then shifted to
gurgaon, haryana and now again they have shifted to Jhandewalan, Delhi.
Please suggest the procedure for filing the complaint.

I had purchased a house in a upcoming society in Vadodara from a builder.
The house is alomost ready and the sales deed is done and registered. Now i
came to know that the builder had made a mistake in measuing the entire land
of society and so my house has been built 3 meters towards the Town Planning
Road. So the front part part of my house is 3 meters on the government road.

My construction Agreement is with the builder but the land agreement is with
the land owner who is not in direct contact with us. the title is clear and
the plan is approved by the municipal corporation. but on site there is a
mistake of 3 meters which i have to bear.

the builder is ready to compansate for the 3 meters land, but at the price
he has purchased land from the original owner. And i want the compansation
at current market rate.

Please guide me. should i take what he give and close the chapter or should
i fight for the current rate.

Subject: Duplicate product from a multi-brand showroom

Dear Sir,
Last year, I have purchased an Adidas Sweater worth Rs.1299 from a
multi-brand showroom PARICHAY, located in M Block Rajapuri, Dwarka.
Just after 2-3 usage the sweater started capturing bubbles. Clearly it was
a defected fabric.
I went back to return the sweater to the showroom after 15 days.
They took the sweater from me and said they will send it to the
manufacturer. They have asked me to check after 25-30 days.
After 30 days, I have asked them about the status, they again asked me to
check after 15-20 days saying they forgot to send to the manufacturer. After
several follow ups within next 2 months, they said it cannot be changed this
season and put a remark on the bill that they will ‘change this next
season’. I have asked why did the company not returned and changed this,
one of their salesman (Kailash) said politely that it was a duplicate one
and they will change it next season as there is no stock available now.
After a years time, I went back and showed them the bill. They are now
refusing to provide the replacement or exchange and they are saying that the
sweater was not brought from their shop.

Please advice the way forward.
Its not just the matter of money but the I genuinely wish to such fraud
shopkeepers who are selling duplicate products using the brand names.
I have the bill with me and I have asked them to return the sweater as well.
If required I can record the conversation with the shop owner who is always
changing his statements
I will be grately oblised for your kind help on this.

i had purchased on e flat in ernakulam , kerala . the builder is suppose to
finish all his work by 31.12.2008 and an additional 03 months up to
31.03.2009.
still there are lot of work pending and it can be delayed up to another 06
months.
i had done my registration of my flat in jan2009 , even though the work is
yet to complete.
as per the sale deed if any delay occurs then the builder is to compensate
12% intrest on the amount the builder received from the purchaser.

On 30th October, 2009, I purchased a mobile handset (I used my old simcard
of Tata Indicom, CDMA ) of Samsung company, its complete description is as
below:

I purchased it from The Mobile Store, situated in my locality itself
(Vasundhara, Ghaziabad).

Sir, I selected this handset among other handsets shown to me at that very
time. I choose it on the basis of my pocket and the features mentioned on
the box of this handset. The service boy there did not show these features
physically, I mean he asked me, that we don’t have a dummy handset. And I
purchased it without any emphatic questions, for Rs.1200/- only.

Sir, as I mentioned aforesaid, that I purchased it on the basis of features
described on the box of the handset itself. One of the published features
was Speaker Phone. And at home when I tried to use this feature (Speaker
Phone) I could not make use of this feature, as it was not an inbuilt
feature provided by the manufacturer (Samsung).

And when I contacted The Mobile Store service boy he told me that if this
feature is mentioned in the user guide(which is not really in this matter),
only then you can avail this feature.

When I scolded him that I purchased this handset only on the basis of
published features mentioned on the box itself. He tried to convince me
that give me the handset, the box, and user guide and I will confirm it from
the service centre. When I told him that this box is the only evidence with
me in case I take the help of Consume Law, he told me that you do whatever
you can.

So, respected Sir, I am eager to know first of all is this a ground for me
to knock the door of hon’ble consumer forum or state forum. Second, if yes,
then how should I initiate the matter, thirdly what will be the outcome I
could expect with in a shortest period of time.

I am feeling cheated and harassed through this cheating and strange
behaviour of service boy of The Mobile Store, I would be grateful if you
could guide me on this matter.

passport on 24 April 2009 at bhikaji kama palace, R K Puram, New Delhi.
Police came at my home for verification in June. In July online status

Dear Sir/Madam,

I received a sms from Vodafone today informing me that the unbilled amount
for my Vodafone # 9811332259 is Rs 25,000 (approx) and I should immediately
make a part payment to avoid disconnection. A large part of this is GPRS
usage.
I have the following issues with the same:
1. My average monthly bill for the last 8 years that I have had a
Essar/Hutch/ Vodafone connection is INR 2,500 at the maximum going up to INR
5,000 on 1 or 2 occasions. This unbilled amount is way too high to be
correct.
2. I spent the last 12 days overseas during which I did not use my India
number at all – so logically this bill should have reduced downwards from
2,500 rather than going upto 25,000 which is a 10X increase.
3. My credit limit is INT 10,000 according to the last communication I had
received from Vodafone so why was the service not stopped when the unbilled
amount crossed the same?
4. I was using a blackberry bought from Vodafone which stopped working -
everytime I tried starting the phone it showed me a blank screen. The GPRS
usage is for showing this blank screen.
5. I have been following up on this issue with Vodafone for the past 45 days
but they have not sent me any details of the GPRS usage not have they been
helpful.

Any advise on what shoudl I do? I don’t want to pay this extra amount
because of faulty billing on part of Vodafone.

Dear Sir,

This is regarding a draw conducted by Ghaziabad Development Authority in
which my application is successfully selected. Sir GDA invited the
application in Feb 2009 for filling the vacant flats in kaushambi apartment.
I applied for this scheme by submitting 96,000 Rs as an application money
for 1 room flat of 27 sq. meter.Total cost of flat will be 9,60,000.

As per the prospectus of this scheme GDA states that the flats are located at
fully developed area and fully developed colonies. But exact apartment name
was not mentioned on the prospectus. By relying on this statement of GDA I
applied for this scheme.

After the eight months GDA announces the draw, on 31/Aug/09. I saw the
result on internet. As per the result My application is selected for a flat
at 9th floor in Gangotri Tower. So I decided to visit the location, I was
really shocked to see the environment.

i)Illegal occupants are living there.

ii) Common Electricity has been cut out because GDA didn’t pay the payment
to the electricity board.

iii) No provision for drainage for sewage water

iv) lifts are not working

v)Market rate of these flats are about half of the amount that GDA is
charging to us.

That’s why I decide to cancel my draw. but when I talk to GDA officials
they told me that my 10% (Rs 9600) amount will be deducted and it takes 3 to
6 months to get back entire sum after deduction.

Sir kindly let me know that I just saw the draw, I didn’t received any
reservation letter, allotment letter or any kind of information about the
draw.

In this case can GDA deduct 10% amount from my application money?

All the it is mention on the prospectus that I one cancel his allotted flat
then 10% amount is deducted from allotment date to 6 months after allotment
date.

But in this case GDA doesn’t issue me any allotment letter. As per the
prospectus GDA will issue the reservation letter to all the successful
applicants. After that verification of submitted documents being process.
GDA will issue the allotment letter. After 1 month of allotment allotters
need to submit 20% of the cost of the flat.

GDA officials told me that we have allotted the flat to you. Sir please let
me know that whether allotment date and draw date is same. Even though I
have submit my cancel application on 11/Sep/2009 as per the following
contents but I didnt received any feedback from GDA.

Subject: Ford Fiesta clutch making noise

Hi,

I own a ford fiesta car, its more than a month I am facing problems in KS
FORD JAIPUR,

First problem is that they repair few things and leave few things without
repairing and i am fed up of going to the workshop again and again. after my
vehicle reached my house, immediately i find again certain work are not done
which are covered under warranty.

Each time they pick or drop my car they charge Rs.100 & Rs.50.

Secondly, The Clutch / pressure plate is making noise at the time the car is
turned off. my car has run 104500 kms, but still the clutch is working in
good condition taking my car speed to 150 kmph.
I feel that this noise is due to defect in the clutch / pressure plate
instead of its wear and tear.

Thirdly, My car met with an accident (car under body hit to huge stones kept
as a border to a pit on the road, car crossed the pit completely even after
major hit) My one Tyre got flat and with other under body parts(Gear Box,
Engine oil pan & pump parts) i got one rim replaced under insurance, but
after the car repair i found that the car is vibrating. Now workshop asks me
to replace other three Rims on my cost. I think that the car was not checked
properly and the other three rims also got damaged due to the accident, but
improper checking of the car resulted in partial work.

Fourthly: My car was over heating because of Fan failure, and when they
fixed up the car they left engine compression check & gave me a CIF(customer
information) Sheet mentioning that the car may get over heated, and then
they will check engine head. I took the car same day & Found the previously
mentioned clutch noise & i returned the car same day to correct it.

I’ve been facing problem in going to the workshop and coming back from the
workshop because of there negligent work.

Pl Suggest if i can claim any damages for the mental & physical agony i am
facing / faced due to there negligent work? And Can i claim the clutch set
under warranty?

I have been using a HSBC Gold Bank credit card for the past few years and it
was upgraded to Platinum card in Jan/Feb 2009.

Suddenly the bank has reduced the limit by more than 90% – and on calling
the phone banking, I was assured that there is no inverse remark in my
account – since I was regular in paying my dues on time.

On requesting a reply through email, the bank is taking cover behind the one
sided card aggrement which I have never signed and accepted.

I just want to know the reason behind the drastic cut since it reflects
badly on me specially since the bank cannot have any black mark against me
since all my payments are clear and have never been delayed.

Recently, in the newspaper, I had read that the court have rejected the
banks plea of refering to the Card member’s agreement saying that the bank
has not gotten a signed concent from the card holder and cannot arbiratorily
enforce the same.

But I cannot find find the article now.

Please help so that the bank gives a clear reason for the reduction.

Hi,
I had a ICICI Bank Credit Card which was issued to me in the year 2005 in
Bangalore. The credit limit for this card was set at Rs. 30000. I however
never used this card and not a single transaction was made on this
account.In 2006, I had shifted my base out of Bangalore. However I
completely forgot about this credit card in the mean time as I was not using
it. The credit card got expired in 2008, and ICICI Bank sent me an upgraded
platinum card with a credit limit of Rs. 2,15,000. I was not even aware of
such happenings.
Meanwhile I moved out of India in the month of Aug 2008.ICICI Bank claims to
have delivered me this card personally in Feb 2009, when in reality i was
residing in the UK. My passport can prove this.My question is simple:

1. I made a mistake of not cancelling this card.But how did ICICI Bank sent
me an upgraded card with such a high limit without my consent.
2. How can they deliver the card to me when I was not even in India?

Can you please tell me whether I can chase this issue in a consumer court?

I booked a Hyundai i10 Sportz model car with M/s.Rudra Hyundai,Durgapur for
an amount of Rs.25000/-. The cost of the car is Rs. 442000/- inclusive of
discount(s)for the month of October,2009 and I told them I can only take the
car on Loan from my banker.As such, they issued a Proforma Invoice on
27.10.2009.
I applied a Car Loan for an amount of Rs.300000/- in State Bank of India,
MCC Branch, Kolkata-54 on 29.10.2009. Rudra Hyundai advised me to FAX a copy
of a Certificate from my banker indicating the Car Loan has been processed
to retain the Discouts as mentioned in Pro.Invoice on 30.10.2009. I did
accordingly without thinking any foul intention.
A few after, SBI authority declined the loan on the plea that Quotation has
been obtained from Durgapur, which is outside of jurisdiction of RACPC,
Kolkata.
I instantly informed Rudra Hyundai regarding the disapproval of Car Loan and
deal with them should be cancelled. In stead, they informed us over phone
that I am bound to purchase the car, as they have already prepare the final
invoice with my notice and now demanding VAT amount involved in the deal,
treating a hirepurchase deal and said nothing regarding refund of Booking
amount.

I requested them several times for refund of Booking amount, as all the
dealers Hyundai Motors Pvt. Ltd does in normally.But they do not pay hid on
the matter.

Finding no way I am requesting you to look into the matter and resolve the
case in negotiation. Since the case is resolved, I can not purchase car from
other dealer at Kolkata.Hoping your favourable attention on the case.

by builder as not getting approval from UTTRAKHAND government. I was the
sole applicant & my husband as a co-applicant. After 2 & half years I
cancelled my booking of plot & requested to refund my money with interest. I
submiited all original receipts of payments & original certificate of
registration to builder. The builder gave me a cheque for Rs.240365.00 of
ICICI bank Ashok Vihar Branch delhi which got bounced on 11/11/2009. SINCE
THAT DAY I am continuosly contacting the builder but he is misleading me &
making false promises to give me payment by demand draft.

I want to file a consumer complaint against him BUT I WANT THAT MY HUSBAND
ATTEND THE CASE ON MY BEHALF. HE IS ALSO CO-APPLICANT IN THE APPLICATION

5.10.2009 and the total amount including accrued interest were transferred
on the same date to our respective Saving Bank Accounts. However, on
getting the confirmation on 22.10.2009, two cheques were deposited with
Indian Overseas Bank, Janakpuri, New Delhi for Rs. 1,56,000/- against credit
lying in both accounts were more than Rs. 1,56,000.00. However, both the
cheques bounced with a remark “Refer to Drawer”. We have sent three letters
under UPC to Sr.Post Master, Ashok Vihar, Delhi and Dy Director General
(Public Grievance & Quality Assurance)& Nodal Officer for RTI, Deptt of
Posts, Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, N.Delhi but no reply has been received. We
are claiming loss of interest @9% for 28 days, plus Rs.60/-charged from each
account by Indian Overseas Bank, Janakpuri, New Delhi.
How we should proceed with the petition, under which court jurisdiction the
plaint has to be filed? Can be claim damages of Rs. 1 lakh each for the

My Grandfather died in 1990. During his life he made two wives one- by
–one and absolutely legal marriages, which Caused birth of Six issues.
Four sons & Two Daughters.

First wife has 1son & 1 daughter

Second Wife has 3sons & 1 daughter

First wife died in 1977 and 1son-died in 2004 (w.o late son has 3sons) &
1daughter died in 2000 has left 2sons.

Second wife live has 1son live , 2son died & 1 daughter live.

As the said premises was not enough to stay together for us that is for we
all legal heirs of our grandfather found another sources of accommodation
respectively and gradually amongs which few at Mumbai itself and the rest
at own native places for social convenience and to avoid family disputes.

In the Year june 2009 before we came to know that my step uncle & step
grandmother who is the one of us had sale our joint tenancy rights without
information to us, permission of us and without any commitment to consider
our cash benefits for which we all have legal rights. ( Landlord ,builder &
our step uncle & grandmother got together and made the fake documents,and
fabricated bills)
This cannot be possible in the government records.Maybe my step uncle had
provided fake documents,fake avidences as well as fake witness to the
government & landlord.

And also arrange a fake deal making union with Builders and the Present
Landlord.

25years as per mutual understanding, does he have any rights to sale the

04.After the death of our Grandfather (landlord & our uncle) they had not
sign the legal affidavit with my uncles 3died brother. i.e the tenancy room
had been transfer to our live uncles name. ( Its impossible about the
Tenancy (Pagadi)room

to be get transfer to our uncle name only.

As Grandfather Died in 1990, Elder son of First wife died in 2004 , Second
Wife Second son died in 2007, Second Wife Third son died in 2005, In the
year after my Grandfather’s death Second wife present with second wife elder
son present had transfer the room in the name of Second wife Elder son with
landlord. Without notice to else 3brother & 2Sister.

05.As In 2000 rationing office issue new ration card with my grandfathers
name & signatory. As per death certificate my grandfather died in 1990 and
In 2004 my step uncle had clear my grandfather name & my step grandmother
name from ration card.? provide his name as owner.

06.Does my grandfathers propertys first wife sons (w.o late son & his son
i;e grandson-myself ) has rights on the tenancy room purchase by my late
grandfather.?

07.My step Uncle had sale the room to unknown builder and went to else
unknown place.

08.After purchase unknown builder had demolised the room and nobody is
supporting us near by. What i should do in this case.

09.Does as Grandson& daughter in law has the rights to go to legal court?

10.If we can go to legal court to whom we should case as i don’t know who is
the builder & where my step uncle went.

11. Can Daughter -in -law & Grandson can take action, if can pls let us know
which action.

Dear Sir,

We are a couple based out of Sheikh Sarai who unfortunately bought three
postpaid connections in the month of April 2009 from AIRCEL.

One no got activated as the paper formalities were complete and the rest two
got activated in the month of May 2009, but before I could use the them my
wife lost her handbag which had both the sims(I have reported the lost of
sim cards at AIRCEL’s Malviya Nagar Office…And inquired If i am supposed
to file an FIR, they said no sir it is not required.

For the first no the first bill had anomalies I requested for a rectified
bill but to vain and thus I have not paid then later on several calls have
been exchanged for the rectification..at the end I have deposited the amount
and requested for the deactivation for this no as well.

From that day on I have spent atleast 500/- on phone calls that pls
deactivate my nos but to vain.. I am unnecessarliy being charged for what I
am not been using and it is causing an unnecessary harassment… I wish to
sue the company for unethical practices and unfair treatment of a respected
customer.

this facility i have recharge my sim card with 100 rupee. 10 minute pulse
facility remains for 15 days, but after 15 days the company close my service
for 10 minute pulse. I talk to custormer care they told me that your if
you recharge your sim card with 254 then again this service will start, your
previous service is only for 15 days. On the sim card rapper only nothing
written about the 15 days and not shopkeeper tell me about this. On the
rapper call rate is written local for 10 minut @1 ruppe and std for 10
minute @3 rupee.

I had a Honda Unicorn 150 cc bike. It was a 2005 July model. Kick start,
black colour, good condition, run less than 20k kms. I bought it in

times and added new accessories to it. And took good care of my bike.
Finally, after 1 year, I got transferred to Mumbai. So I had to sell my

I asked icici bank to provide me the account details of the other person but
they didn’t provide me

I lodged a complaint in icici and the complaint number is 122701084.

Please try to resolve this and transfer the funds back to my account.

Hi all,

Please provide me a legal advise on the below given scenario.

On 29Sep09 I went to Nokia care center in Mumbai wherein I submitted my N82
handset for repairs as it had issue in the speakers. I was given commitment
that the phone just need speaker replacement and will be delivered back to
me in 2 working days.

After 2 working days when I asked them to return the phone they told me that
they cannot return it as they are unable to start the phone as some problem
occurred while repairing and they would need couple of days to sort it out.
This was purely an error from their side as I only requested for speaker
changes.

They committed me to deliver the handset on 5Oct09. I strictly told them
that I need my handset back even if they are unable to resolve the speakers
problem. This is because my office which was close to Nokia care center was
going to be shifted to another location far away from Nokia care centre
location.

On 5th Oct09 they still were unable to start (Switch On) the phone. The phone
was dead and I didnt had any option than to listen to the Nokia care centre
advise to send the phone to their Gurgaon head office. However I clearly
communicated to them that I will be flying to London on 28th Oct and would
need phone back before that. They further committed me to deliver the phone
on 15 Oct 09.

Since 15th Oct I have given them many calls and everytime they have been
giving me false committment that the phone will come from gurgaon office in
1 to 2 days. They never kept the courtesy of calling me back. Following up
with them costed me lot of inconvinience and mental harrasement as I have to
argue everytime I call them over the false commitmment they have been giving
me.

Also another factor due to which I was pushing them to get things done
faster that I will be flying to London on 28Oct09 for 2.5 months and hence i
needed my phone back even with unresolved speaker problems before that. But
since the phone was killed by nokia while repairing they were unable to
return me my original handset.

On 25Oct09 I registered complaint with Nokia call centre and in the evening
I followed up again with the Nokia care centre and they told me that even
the Gurgaon office is unable to start the phone.

They gave me 2 options
1: They will give me another N82 used handset as a replacement incase if it
is availaible with the Gurgaon Office.’

2: Or they will give me some another used model of Nokia as a replacement.

I am not happy with any of these options. Because they are giving me a used
N82 phone and if the working condition of that phone is not good then I
might have to incur further repairing charges which is not fair enough. As
the error happened at their side while repairing my original phone. I think
it is fair enough to give me a new phone which is in good working condition.

Also I have invested 19000 rs in N82 because it has some good camera
features which is not available in any other phone. So taking another model
is out of question.

More or less even if I opt for any of these options they are not providing
me the replacement before 28th and I am flying to London on 28 th Oct for
2.5 months. This was also commuinicated to Nokia on 05thOct09 and at that
time they assured me that they will deliver phone before 15Oct09. So now my
phone will not be availaible to me for 2.5 months. I might have to buy a new
phone as I need to use it in london.

All these has caused me great inconvinence, mental harrasement, loss of
bussiness. N82 contains same features as a digi cam . So i might have to buy
a digi cam and a new phone as I am going to London or buy a new N82. i have
to incur these cost just because my phone was killed by nokia care centre
and a appropriate replacement is not done before the committed time.

Please advise what legal options do I have for getting compensated for the
cost, inconvinence and harrasment done to me.

Subject: Advice regarding the legal validity of recovery of Service Charges by a Restaurant.

The foods and services offered to the Customers in a Restaurant already is
priced with the input of Costs of ingrediants and service cost plus margin.
If this is not so then the prices of food items should have been uniformly
priced and it should not vary .
However, we went to the Restaurant , Yum Yum Tree at New Freinds Colony, New
Delhi for dinning on 17.10.09 and after having dinner, when we asked for
Bill for making payment, w were surprised to see that in the Bill , an
element of Service Charges( Please note it is not Service Tax , as
clarified from the restaurant manager) of Rs 78.13 was added to the Bill.
Total Bill of amount Rs 781.00 including VAT of Rs 79.13 and Prices of
Foods of Rs 625 and service charges of Rs 78.13 were asked to pay and we
paid . The Restaurant manager insisted for payment of Service Charges, which
in our view should not be collected from Customers from Restaurants when the
prices of foods are already priced at very high rates.
In the interests of the Public/Customers and general consumers , it is
essential that there should be transparency in Pricing and collecting
various chargesexcept VAT/Service Tax(Statutory Taxes) and argued from this
Forum for Clarification in view of the facts given and about the right of
the Restaurants and resolving of issues in the light of govt regulations
and right of the customers.
The Restuatnts should be proceeded against the irregular recoveries of
charges. By defination and by the norms of Govt rules for setting
Restaurants and providing/getting approval/Licenses, it is necessary that
Restaurants are supposed to provide adequate sititing arrangement, service
of providing foods and amenities for dinning for the customers and moreover
when Restaurants are free to fix prices of foods , then how can a Restaurant
recover Service Charges.

My name is Gurmandeep Singh, I am proprietor of M/s TAKKAR
TRADERS, working as Super Stockiest of various companies in Ludhiana.
A company named as Maneesh Pharmaceuticals Limited has done
fraud with us and we have to take approx 26 lacs from the company. But the
company is not giving any response on this matter. As the claims are already

got the same problem like us. Total fraud is of about 1 .2 crores only in

We have one Mediclaim policy of Rs.1 Lac Medical Coverage from New India
Assurance Compnay, New Delhi, from the last 6-7 years, which was renewed in
August 17, every year. This year we have also renewed our policy. On the
late evening of October 23, 2009, our patient suffered with vomiting and
severe headache with some other problem for which he had brought the patient
in the nearby hospital. The doctor on duty had admitted him estimated time
of one day. After the admission, hospital Mediclaim Section approached
Raksha TPA (New India Assurance Co. given the contract to Raksha TPA
Ltd.)and sent them doctor’s comments,treatment estimate for Rs. 20,000/-
with the copy of the Mediclaim Policy and wait for approval. On Saturday,
around at 4.00 pm, Raksha TPA told the hospital that they need Form 64 VB (a
statement of account which shows the cheque clearance details of the clients
which was insured by the Insurance Company). But the New India Assurance
Company was closed because by the time it was 4.45 pm and next day is
Sunday. Patient has to wait in the hospital unnecessarily because the doctor
cannot discharge the patient without receiving the approval for money. On
Monday morning, we again contaced New India Assurance Company, finally in
the afternoon, they told us that we had sent a person to submit Form 64 VB
personally in Raksha TPA, Faridabad. By the Monday evening, the person
could not reach from Delhi to Faridabad at Raksha TPA becasue he had some
other papers for other offices so he thought I will deliver it fomorrow.
But the New India Assurance co. had e-mailed this statement to Raksha TPA.
Then we contaced Raksha TPA, had you receive the e-mail or not, made
hundreds of calls. Around 8.00 pm, the person on duty told us that we have
recived the e-mail but the policy is not endorsed in our system, so I cannot
given you the approval and the concerned person will come on next day on his
duty. We receive approval on Tuesday evening. Patient has to stay in
hospital from Saturday to Tuesday unnecessarily and the co. also has to pay
more money. Is this right? Why New India Assurance Co. will not clear the
statement of account monthy. Why they had taken 2 1/2 months for this task.
Indirectly, they are harrassing the patients.

We employed a builder to construct our house. He was doing a decent job for
few months. Later he started doing poor quality work, when insisted he was
very sarcastic and arogant with us. He had laid faulty foundation and built

Lost my Labour ID card of Dubai in Courier
Dear Sir,

I sent one Envelope via “ARAMEX COURIERS” (Docket No. 3162699971, Pick Up
agency : Balaji Courier & Cargo, C-19, Main Road, Masoodpur, Vasant Kunj,
Delhi-70) on dated 21/07/2009 to Dubai(UAE), In that Envelope I putted my
Labour ID card issued by Government of Dubai on behalf of my company(Work
Permit No.38302925), that Card I sent back in my company for my Visa
cancellation.

When the courier received by in Dubai Office, they told that when the opened
Aramex Polythene, the envelope was totally empty, there is nothing inside
it, even that envelope is already opened by someone before delivering, and
that opened space is enough to took that “LABOUR CARD” out from that

Its really a very much serious thing, If I not submit my card on time, so my
visa will not get cancel and i will not be able to get the new visa from
dubai, and i will surely loose my New assignments in Middle east, A small
mistake from ARAMEX side is able to waste my whole professional career, and
also if that labour card is took out by some wrong persons, so they can
misuse the card in various ways, and all responsibility is only by “ARAMEX
COURIERS”

After that, I sent several mails to customer support team/Courier Pick Up
Agency/Top Management to ARAMEX in Dubai and Delhi, but they are even not
bother to reply on my mail.They are just passing the things internally, and
not responding to me, that mails even I marked to CEO level person in
ARAMEX, but they also not bother to reply me and not take any single step to
sort out my sitution.

I am really in great trouble, As i am not able to get my old visa cancel,
and will not be eligible to apply for a new visa in Dubai, All that of
because I choose ARAMEX for couriering my ID Card, and I advise every
customer, Kindly think twice to send their couriers via ARAMEX Couriers, As
you well understand that how they are treating their customers and even the
Top Management are also not bothering for any complain, So we can, t expect
any thing from the Middle/Lower level management of ARAMEX

1)My salary account is in ICICI bank branch senapati Bapat road Pune.
2)My ATM card is blocked in Canara ATM in NOIDA on 21/07/2009 while

3)I have blocked the ATM card by calling ICICI phone banking executive on
same day.
4)Phone banking executive has registred the request for new ATM card and i
asked to him that i would collect ATM card from NOIDA sector 18 branch of
ICICI bank.
5)For official purpose i came down to chandigarh on that day only.
6)I got sms from ICICI bank to collect ATM card within three weeks from
NOIDA branch after three days.
7)But i got sms on 27/07/2009 the money is deducted from account.
8)I enquired on phone banking they told me that your ATM card is delivered
from ICICI headquarter Bombay but it is not acknowledged at NOIDA branch
4000,4000,10000,5000 total 23000/- is withdrawn from my account by new ATM
card.
9)Then i went to NOIDA branch on 28/07/2009 .I told all details about money
deduction from my account to NOIDA branch manager of ICICIC and she asked to
give me Compliant.I have given compalint reagarding the same.
10)But i am not getting any response from ICICI bank
11)It is total fault of ICICI bank.what should i do now ?

 Was my second visit to Carma for my troussou at around 1500hrs –

 I promised and return back on 16th August to see a particular design in
different color & fixed a meeting with Sabyasachi for 27th August 2009.
 Around 1615 hrs I was called on my cell phone by Ms Gurleen – Store
Manager accusing me of stealing one lakh rupee from the changing room
 Aparetntly another clinet who claimed to carry one lakh cash in her bag
which she left unattended in the same changing room I used / another
customer used / Carma staff used

 I was threatned to have sent cops my way. I was tarumatised and harassed
as any decent citizen would be.

 I made my fiancé call them back within next ten minutes after the
heated argument between me and Gurleen.

 At 1645 I received another call from Gurleen which I missed, I returned
the call in next two minutes to learn that Gurleen was apologetic and sorry
for what she didMy question to you is

 Why was the bag left unattended ; none public places take responsibility
incase the person valueables aren’t kept attended

 Whats the proof with Carma staff that she was actually carrying one lakh
rupee

 What made them call me directly accusing me for something I had no clue
for

 Why was I threatned using impolite words

 Why was I given an explanation that the client was important because she
wore 28 carat solitaire and was a repeat client.

 Why wasn’t I called if the money was found back in her bag/ home / I
dnt care where.

 Repecurssions it could have had on me

 Question mark on my character, respect, name and carrer.
 Considering I have three months to get married ; my reputation amongst
family/ friends/ fiancé

 Reputation at work and other High end stores in New Delhi

 Mental Stress/ Trauma/ Police case/ Lawyers etc etc etc

Between work and my marriage I have no time to blink eyes but I couldn’t

being delivered at its destination which is “S. Inderjit Singh, 985, Tripiri
Town , Gali No. 11, in front state bank of india branch, patiala ,punjab,
Pin Code -147001. I had followed the case from many days at 0175 – 5021282
(Patiala Branch) from delhi many times but no proper response was given.
They inform only that all the consignments of Tripiri Town has been

1. ICICI issued me a payable at par cheque book for account no:
055101500605and ICICI phone banking assured me that these Payable at Par
cheques will be processed with no extra charges.

2. I issued 3 ICICI bank payable at par cheques on which the bank has later
levied Multicity Usage charges (Approx. more than Rs.2,500 as charges).

3. The phone banking person ‘Ravinder’informed me that this will be
reversed becuase my cheques are payable at Par via conversation no.
115344665. However, the Madhu Chhanda, Manager ICICI ITPL Branch, Bangalore
did not attend to me. Also the callous/do not care attitude of the staff was
unacceptable.

4. The Payable at Par cheque was issued by ICICI and the issuing branch
refuses to honour this now.

it becomes very difficult to get the work done

and to much of time consuming taking leave from

the office work and sub-mitting 5 sets of copy

with draft of Rs100=00 even then no action has

been initiated FOR LAST 5YRS

b) i would like to tell u that the procedure of

consumer complaint was very easy 10 years back

because i myself had put the case on one piece of

paper and the matter was solved by the consumer

court with all document attached.

c) can u pl. send me the grievence address OF

HEAD QUATER NEW DELHI OR ANY MINISTRY TO WHOM I

d) Last 10yrs we could send the complaint by

Hi,
I purchased a second hand refrigerator 2 weeks ago.By the time of dealing
shopkeeper told me to give 1 year warranty and the fridge that he showed to
me is although is not in very good condition but he promised me to make it
like a new one.
On the day he delieverd the fridge i was not present at home and my friend
paid him the amount but later when he checked it was as bad as it was
earlier and he gave us warranty of 6 mnths instead of 1 year.
I asked the shopkeeper to replace the fridge with some other one with good
condition, firstly he agreed but after 2 days he refused to replace and ask
me for 500 bucks more for the replacement.
I purchased the refrigerator in 3200/- Rs.I also asked him to take the
refrigerator back and return us our money but he said he can take that
refrigerator back in 1500 rs only.
When i asked him why didnt he tell me all this earlier by the time of
dealing he won’t answer me and infact cut my call and clearly deny with
everything.
Now i am helpless.I dont know what to do.
Please suggest me what should i do.I am also facing some problem with the
fridge.

Subject: Clarification on term `Consumer’

Dear Sirs,
I had filed a case at the District Consumer Forum Hyderabad III(Case No:261
of 20/04/09)of non-delivery of a parcel sent through International EMS
Service of Postal Dept to Bermuda on 3rd May 2008. As the addressee did not
get the consignment I lodged written complaints to the Postal Dept several
times but no response was received. Thus I had to file a complaint at the
Hyderabasd District Consumer Forum on 2nd March, 2009.
After hearing the case for several days and finding the failure of the
Postal Dept to produce any evidence of delivery the court was convinced on
the defficiency of service for awarding the compensation of loss of Rs. 6700
only. But just before passing the order the Judge suddenly informed me NOW
that since I get commission in procuring & sending the orders of an US
orgn., so this consumer court can not give any verdict. I am a retired
non-pension earning individual of 67 years of age and as a means of
self-employment I procure & despatch petty orders of a web based US company,
who gets orders abroad. They pay me a nominal 3% commission on order value.

I find from the explanation given under term Consumer under the act that an
individual doing commercial business for self employment deemed to be a
consumer under the Consumer Protection Act.

Under this circumstances kindly advice me what procedure I should adopt to
get compensation for the loss.

I Nitish Garg by profession student of paramedics. I being a consumer need
justice against Trump cellular, the scenario is that my mobile got stolen
while in bus so i contacted straight with the Sanchar Haat near Zakhir
Hussain College, regarding issuing a duplicate SIM of my current number and
they issued me a new and told me it would be activated in 2hrs maximum,

I would appeal for justice because its been torturous that the no. hasn’t
activated till now…
please provide justice because even telling them of complaining to consumer

This is to seek your advice for the below mention issue.

I Have purchased a Holiday package from a Company in April 2009 and they
have asked me to pay Rs 30000/- at the time of filling the form. Till date I
have not recieved any membership confirmation from their side in writing.

I have availed one holiday in the month of May, in which I did not find any
complience in their services which they have offered at the time of
registration even I have been charged Utility charges separately.

I wrote back to them after returning back regarding the same and ask them to
cancle my membership and stop the ECS for the remaining amount, which I did
not get response from their side despite of sending series of mails.

Despite of my request of stopping the ECS this has happened in last three
months as well and last Installment has been deducted after their written
assurance of not deducting.

I have received response from their side few days back and after then I also
visited their office as well where they were not able to show me my
membership file as well.

Please advise me how I can get my money back as they have got some provision
in their contract letter, I also don’t have copy of the same and no
communication on the same.

After going to the nokia care centre Kanchan Sethi brought to my notice that
nokia care centre does not give any data backup and was told rather rudely
by her that its not their but the customers responsiblity and duty to take
the data backup. As the handset went dead I being a layman i requested the
nokia personnel to give me the data back up as i being an entrepreneur had
many important contacts in the phone. But they flatly refused to even
consider my plea inspite of repeated requests.I also requested them for a
standby handset since i did not hav a spare handset on me.Even this request
was turned down by Kanchan Sethi.After seeing her non cooperative and rude
attitude I asked her to call the branch manager.

After waiting for 15 minutes Ajay Rana came he was introduced to me as the
branch manager.I repeated the whole incident to him but even he refused to
give me any assistance with the data back up whereas he assured me that he
would give me the standby handset by afternoon next day which till date i
hav not received from them.

This took us around half an hour and inspite of the fact that our concerns
were not handled properly we were very rudely told by another personnel
named Amit Sodhi whose designation was not revealed to us that it is due to
consumers like us that their precious time gets wasted and they have better
things to do and asked us to leave.I would also like to bring to your notice
that there were others also who were being troubled in the same manner.

As mentioned above the target delovery date was 14th but till date that is
24th aug 2009 i have not received my handset.I have even registered a
complaint with Nokia Call Centre.The staff at the call centre was also very
incompetent and after repeated requests was i able to talk to the floor
incharge,it took them 28 min to register my complain( complain no
17862245646)

So overall my experience with nokia has been horrible to the extent of being
harassed and morever have suffered a lot due to loss of all my important
business contacts.i would like to be compensated for whatever trouble i have
faced, i would like you look into this matter and kindly revert back to me.

2. Channel memory is not working

I registered three complaint between December 08 and March 09 vide complaint

number 8407718103 and others but not only the engineer of the company
refused to acknowledge that there is any thing wrong about the TV and also
refused to give any details in writing .

And based on this I went to the consumer court hoping that the senior
management of samsung team will take notice and contact us and make the
necessary repairs/ replacement so that the TV works without defect but to
our surprise none of them responded properly instead baseless allegation
were levied upon us by there lawyers

Hello

I had bought 3 connections of Reliance Big tv last year and 2 connections
didnt work at all and 1 was activated with wrong plan. After nothing was
done by Reliance over a period of 2 months I filed a case in consumer court
through a lawyer. though there was evidence in the form of mails and
photographs the case was decided in their favour because the bribed the
lawyer and he didnt argue. now I have file a case in State forum and will
fight the case myself.

I wanted to ask if I can produce the data in court of how many cases have
been filed against Reliance to show the actual face and conduct of company.
Would it be of any help to the case as an additional point? And If yes can
you please guide me from where to get this information.

The case hearing is on 2nd september.
